Darcy Pinder
Darcy is a commercial and property lawyer based in Rotorua, working within the Rotorua commercial law team. She is well-equipped to handle complex legal matters with a focus on clear and strategic advice.
Darcy is from Rotorua (Tūhourangi Ngāti Wāhiao and Ngāti Whakaue). She completed her law and finance degrees at Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University of Wellington and began her career in the firm’s Wellington office, working on corporate banking and finance transactions and high‑end commercial and residential land developments. She has since returned to Rotorua, where her practice focuses on commercial, property and Māori land and business matters.
Darcy’s background also includes advising on commercial contracts, conveyancing, rural and commercial leasing, banking and finance transactions, particularly those involving the financing of large mixed-use development projects, acting on medium to large-scale residential, commercial and industrial developments, governance matters, corporate structuring and establishment of subsidiary and group entities . Additionally, Darcy has a strong track record of working with Māori Trusts and Incorporations.
