Nick Bielby

Nick Bielby is a Senior Solicitor in the Business & Commercial team at JB Morrison Lawyers. He advises a wide range of clients, including privately owned and owner-operated businesses, companies and commercial operators of various sizes, and private clients on an array of corporate, commercial and property matters.  

Nick was born and raised locally, in Eastbourne, and studied law, economics and finance at Victoria University of Wellington.  He began his career in commercial property, giving him a strong grounding in conveyancing and trust matters. This experience complements his broader commercial practice, enabling him to provide effective advice on both the property and corporate elements of a transaction.

Nick’s current practice includes the sale and acquisition of businesses and assets and also company shares, employee share schemes, business structuring, shareholder and governance arrangements, commercial contracts and financing.  

Nick is known for delivering clear, pragmatic advice that cuts through complexity while keeping commercial outcomes and risk front of mind.  He is committed to building strong, ongoing relationships and supporting clients wherever possible.
